Zoning

As our beautiful City grows and moves forward into a sustainable future we are here to help ensure that our neighborhoods and properties continue to shine. Our purpose is to assure compliance, through education, with zoning ordinances and other code sections that are related to private property and commercial usage and which address promoting health, safety, property preservation, and community enhancement.

Zoning

refers to regulations of the use of land and the placement of structures on the land. With the exception of City-owned rights-or-way, all of the land in the City of Marysville has a designated Zoning District. These districts are defined in the City of Marysville Zoning Ordinance which describes the regulations applicable to each district. Regulations include minimum yard requirements (or building setbacks), landscaping requirements, signage allowable permitted and conditional uses for each district.
