Collection

The Sanitation Division is responsible for collecting yard waste, brush, and leaves for the residents of the City of Marysville. Yard waste, brush, and leaves are picked up on a weekly basis and on the same schedule as trash and recycling. Please review the Yard Waste, Brush, and Leaf Collection brochure for guidelines to prepare your waste for pick-up.

Holidays

Yard waste, brush, and leaf collection services will be delayed one day from the normal schedule for the following holidays, if they occur on a weekday:

New Years Day Martin Luther King Day President’s Day Good Friday Memorial Day

Independence Day Labor Day Veterans Day Thanksgiving Day / Friday after Thanksgiving Christmas Day

If the holiday falls on a Saturday, the Friday before the holiday will be observed. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be observed as the holiday. Routes will be worked until they are caught up to normal schedule.
