The Public Service Department provides general services that enhance the quality of life, safety, and health of the residents and customers of the City of Marysville. The department is comprised of the following divisions:

Public Service Director Jeremy Hoyt
Jeremy Hoyt has served as the Public Service Director since October 2020. He was appointed by the City of Marysville in 2009 to serve as the Assistant City Engineer and then served as City Engineer from 2013 to 2020. Prior to joining the City, he was employed as a consultant responsible for designing residential and commercial subdivisions (primarily in Delaware County) while also performing various engineering projects for municipal clients throughout the State.
Jeremy is a graduate of Ohio Northern University, where he also played baseball. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer for the State of Ohio.
