Brian F. Dostanko has served as the Marysville Human Resources Director since May 2002. This also includes being the City's Safety and Risk Manager. Prior to joining the City, Brian served 24 years in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.
Brian holds an Associate's Degree in Electrical Systems from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Law from Campbell University. In addition, Brian earned a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
Human Resources Assistant Tara Maine
Tara Maine started as the Human Resources Assistant with the City of Marysville in 2013. She has over 10 years experience as a HR Generalist. Tara holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Wilmington College and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute.
Human Resources Coordinator Rachel Bates
Rachel Bates joined the City’s Human Resources team in January 2023 as the Human Resources Coordinator. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Management Information Systems, from Bowling Green State University.
