Obtaining Records

Copies of records can be obtained in person at the Records Bureau during normal business hours. To request a copy of a record, please complete a Records Request Form and mail, fax or deliver it to the Records Bureau, 1250 W. Fifth St., Marysville, OH 43040. You may also submit a request online. Additionally, records are available on our Reports page.

The Marysville Division of Police will provide copies up to 10 pages (including postage) at no cost to the requestor. Copy/postage costs will apply for any record in excess of 10 pages or for duplication of other media forms, such as CDs or DVDs. Contact the Records Clerk with any questions regarding fees.

Most accident and incident reports will be available within 24-72 hours after the event. If requesting the record in person, please contact the Records Bureau to verify that your record is available for release prior to coming to the department. If requesting a record online, or by mail or fax, the record will be sent to you after it becomes available.
