About the Division
The Marysville Division of Fire proudly protects 30,000 people living in City of Marysville, Paris, Dover, and a portion of Darby townships. The Fire Division is comprised of 60 dedicated staff members assigned to Administration, Operation and Fire Prevention. In 2012 and 2013 the City opened two new fire stations, replacing a single facility that served the division for thirty eight years. The Fire Division is a progressive “all risk” organization. The Fire Division responds to approximately 3,800 incidents annually and is an active participant in automatic aid locally, as well as statewide mutual aid system. The Fire Prevention division is staffed by 3 personnel that conduct approximately 800 inspections annually. These inspections include businesses, schools, and special events.
