Midwest U.S. – Japan Association (MWJA) Conference
The 52nd annual Midwest U.S. – Japan Association (MWJA) conference was held in Chicago, Illinois (September 11-13, 2022). The conference was attended by hundreds of dignitaries and business leaders from both the United States and Japan, including nearly 25 delegates from Ohio.
City Manager Terry Emery, Vice-President of Council Henk Berbee, and Union County-Marysville Economic Development Director Eric Phillips proudly represented our community at the conference.
Did you know? 24 Japanese companies employ approximately 6,615 people in Marysville and Union County. These 6,615 jobs account for 24.4% of the total jobs in our community!

New Playground Coming Soon
The Butterfly Park (located at 520 Morning Star Dr.) playground is ready for an upgrade! Work to replace the playground will begin in mid-October. Please note that the existing playground is available for use, even though fencing is up.

Annual Dog Swim
Pooches enjoyed the Municipal Pool during the Annual Dog Swim, held on September 6, 2022. Thanks to all who attended! The Union County Humane Society will receive $235.00 from the event proceeds.
