Children who are either or both categories of less than 4 years of age OR less than 40 pounds must be in a child restraint safety seat. Children less than 8 years of age, unless they have reached 4'9" in height must be in a booster seat. Children who are 8-15 years of age must use a seat belt. According to City Code 509.08 Curfew - No minor under the age of twelve years shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, other public places, places of amusement and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places during the period from darkness to dawn; provided, however, that the provisions of this subsection do not apply to a minor accompanied by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care of and custody of the minor, or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.

The Marysville Division of Police offers fingerprinting, including electronic submission for background checks through BCI&I and FBI. Reports/results are sent directly to employers or individuals. Services are only available to people who live or work within the City of Marysville. This service is available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays/observed holidays) at 1250 W. Fifth Street, Marysville. Appointments are necessary. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Individuals should bring a valid government-issued ID (Driver's license). The cost is $32 for BCI only, $34 for FBI only, and $56 for both BCI and FBI. Cash (in the exact amount), check/money order or credit card are all acceptable forms of payment. Individuals are encouraged to complete a Fingerprint Service Request Form prior to arriving at the Division of Police. This form MUST be completed by the requester prior to the fingerprint/background being performed. All appropriate 'Reason Fingerprinted' fields must be completed by the requester. Marysville City Code 505.09 - No person shall keep or harbor any dog within the Municipality which, by frequent and habitual barking, howling or yelping, creates unreasonably loud and disturbing noises of such character, intensity and duration as to disturb the peace, quiet and good order of the Municipality. Any person who shall allow any dog habitually to remain, be lodged or fed within any dwelling, building, yard or enclosure, which he occupies or owns, shall be considered as harboring such dog. On complaint made to the police of a dog owned or kept in the City, which by barking, biting, howling or in any way or manner disturbing the peace or quiet of any person, the police shall issue a notice of such complaint to the person owning, keeping or permitted such dog to be kept. No person so notified shall neglect to cause such dog to be forthwith placed under such control as will promote such peace and quiet.

Yes, anyone going door to door in a residential area soliciting funds for good or services (selling a product for profit) is required to obtain a solicitor's permit. Once you obtain the permit, you must conspicuously attach and exhibit the license on the outside of your clothing, and you must present the receipt, showing proof of purchase of the license, when asked. You may not solicit before 8:00 am or after 8:00 pm, or on any holiday as defined in the Ohio Revised Code Section 1.14. No permit is required for those soliciting for non-profit, charitable, or recognized religious organizations; as long as they are not compensated for the soliciting. For adults (those over 18 years of age) there is a $75 license fee. Additionally, you must bring a government issued ID with a photo. There is no charge for anyone requiring a permit who is under 18 years of age. Past soliciting activity and the business federal ID number is required on the application. Your fingerprints and photo will be obtained as part of the application process. You must complete the application at least five days prior to the date you wish to start soliciting. Any violation of this ordinance is a minor misdemeanor for the first violation and is a first degree misdemeanor for any subsequent violations.
Officers have anywhere from one to five workdays to submit the initial crash report for public release.
For crime-related reports/incidents, there currently is no time limit on submitting the report for release. Once the report is submitted, the initial report may be available for release but any investigative documents may not be released until a "closed" or "inactive" status is placed on the case.
